CH#012 - Louisiana State Museum

Louisiana State Museum
New Orleans, LA

Historic Preservation
The Cabildo is an historic 200 year old building where the Louisiana Purchase was signed.

The Challenge:

The Museum’s Lead-Based Paint covered plaster walls were badly delaminated and the constant chipping and peeling paint challenged maintenance personnel. Officials were concerned that any work would adversely affect the fragile surfaces. They needed assurance that any methodology used to abate the problem was proven and offered a long-term warranty.
