Crane Tower Restoration
Port of San Francisco, California USA
Some rusty, lead containing historic structures & buildings of this newly converted waterfront park were in bad shape & needed restoration that would preserve their famous maritime characteristics. The Port planned to preserve several relics left behind from the shipyard's past & restore buildings identified as historically significant. One of them the celebrated Crane Tower.

GLOBAL Encasement, Inc.’s (GEI) award-winning coating system was chosen for its ability to halt rust along with providing long-term durability, resistance to wind, salt sea spray & damaging UV rays. GEI’s R.I.P.™ Rust Inhibiting Primer was first applied, inhibiting & halting further rust. Next PrepLESS Primer was applied to lock in place any loose flaking paint chips. Then custom colored LeadLock™ TopCoat was put on to complete the system protecting the celebrated structures in order to prevent future corrosion from the ongoing attack of sea salt spray & harsh weather.
Testimonial: We are done working on the Port Crane Tower and closing out this project. Thanks for your help and hope to work with you in the future.
