The Challenge:

To Abate the Asbestos-Containing Fireproofing on the cafeteria's structual steel and metal ceiling deck.
The cafeteria was being redesigned to eliminate the old and dingy acoustic ceiling panels. The metal panel grids would remain, creating a loftier feeling in the room.

A GLOBAL Encasement Class A Fire RatedSystemwas Designed Consisting of PrepLESS Primerand AsbestoSafe® TopCoat. The TopCoat was tinted a charcoal gray while the grids were painted a bright red to fit in with the Art Deco theme.

All the Government's Requirements Were Met. The 20-Year Warranted System Offers Long-Lasting Protection From Fiber Release for Both the Maintenance Personnel and Building Occupants.
