Waterproofing FAQ

01. How can an acrylic coating be good waterproofing?

These materials are actually a U.L. Approved waterproof membrane and liquid roofing system. Unlike other coatings, GLOBAL Encasement, Inc. materials breathe, and have excellent elongation and flexibility. They can move with the substrate and have the ability to allow moisture vapor to be released without cracking. The coatings are intelligent in that they have memory, and can reattach themselves to the substrate.

02. Is your waterproof topcoat the finish coat or must it be coated over?

GLOBAL Encasement, Inc. TopCoats are finish coatings manufactured in bright white and can be custom tinted to almost any color.
