Indoor Public Pool
Canada

The challenge:

This indoor public pool had friable non-asbestos fireproofing on the ceilings. The cotton candy type fireproofing was badly deteriorating and needed to be removed or encapsulated.

Benefits desired:

  •     Encapsulate friable non-asbestos fireproofing
  •     Long Term Solution
  •     Little to No Surface Preparation
  •     Waterproof, Durable, Breathable
  •     Prevent mold growth
  •     Cost Effective

Results:

Results: Using a thin coat of PrepLESS Primer the friable non-asbestos fireproofing was locked down preventing any further fiber release. A second coat of PrepLESS Primer was followed by two coats of MOLDon’t™ TopCoat that will prevent mold from growing on the finished surface.
