Crystal Cove Historic District, Los Trancos Area
San Clemente, CA
This Beach Front Building was Originally a Snack Bar and was Converted to a Museum Chronicling the Early Years of the Surfing Culture Along Southern California Beaches.
The Clapboard Siding Needed Repainting and had Lead-Based Paint. Any Coatings Used Needed to Exhibit Excellent Chemical Resistance to Battle the Excessive Salt Sea Spray, and Avoiding Any Disturbance of the Siding was Crucial in this Windy Beach Area.
A GLOBAL Encasement System Proved to be The Solution this Client Needed.
The System Design included PrepLESS Primer™ to lock down any loose, peeling and flaking paint, followed with Long-Lasting, Durable and Chemical Resistant LeadLock™ TopCoat. The Original Historic Color Was Matched To Preserve it as a Familiar Landmark.
