The Challenge:

The Entire Back of this School had Originally Been Painted with Lead-Based Paint (LBP). The Lawrence School System was Looking for a Simple, Secure Solution to this Hazard. With the Need for More Public School Facilities, the School System Found the Option of Removing the LBP too Costly and Time Consuming.

GLOBAL Encasement’s LeadLock™ System, Used to In-Place Manage Lead-Based Paint, was Approved for the Project. PrepLESS Primer™ Sealed the LBP In-Place with No Generation of Hazardous Waste or Surface Preparation Required. LeadLock™ TopCoat was then Applied, Resulting in a U.L. Listed Waterproof, Class A Fire-Rated Encasement System.
